To improve human connection, and the outcomes of our coaching program, we have integrated Canary Speech technology into our cognitive behavioral coaching sessions, enhancing the coaches relevance and ability to connect with their clients.
What is Canary Speech?
Canary Speech is a revolutionary voice and speech analysis technology that provides our cognitive behavioral coaches real-time insights into their client’s energy, stress and mood levels by using the client’s voice as an assessment.
Canary Speech’s patented, non-invasive, efficient, and highly accurate method of measuring voice as a digital biomarker offers additional data to our coaches, helping them connect and provide more relevant support.

Enhanced Health Monitoring and Proactive Support: Real-time voice analysis allows for early identification of mental health and wellness issues in our clients.
More Personalized, Relevant, and Connected Coaching: The insights from voice analysis allow our coaches to connect more deeply with clients and tailor sessions to the specific needs of each individual, enhancing the effectiveness of our programs.
Reduced Assessment Fatigue: Through seamless integration with our regular coaching sessions, the quantity of subjective assessments that a client must take is reduced, streamlining and enhancing their experience.

How will Canary Speech work within our coaching program?
Voice is Captured through a Coaching Session
The client’s voice is captured through our app in their session with their coach.
40 Seconds of Voice From the Session is Analyzed
40 seconds of the client’s voice sample from the session is analyzed by Canary Speech Engines and AI Models.
- Canary Speech Models utilize state-of-the-art deep machine learning techniques to analyze vocal samples and make predictions based on cues in the speech.
- Using a proprietary system, features for the deep learning model are extracted from the vocal sample, and include analysis of speech at three levels: acoustic, prosodic, and linguistic.
- From each vocal sample, Canary’s technology extracts over 12.6 million features across these levels of speech with 40 seconds of speech. Models are optimized for accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity.
Coaches Receive the Client Voice Score in Real Time and Can See Outcomes Over Time
Our cognitive behavioral coaches can see the current and past scores. In addition to in the moment support, we enable coaches to see the client stress, energy, and mood progress overtime.
From the Voice Score, Coaches Create More Relevant Connection and Plans
Coaches can use the Canary Score as an additional data point to improve connection and support relevance with their clients.

What are the details of the rollout?
- Canary Speech will be added to coaching sessions within the next couple of weeks.
- Canary Speech will seamlessly integrate into regular coaching sessions without any disruptions.
- Coaches will only see the scores. Clients will not see the scores.
- If desired, clients can opt out of Canary Speech assessments.
